These terms cover the use of launchacademy.ca. Launch Academy is a nonprofit society in Vancouver, British Columbia.
What this page covers, and what it does not
This is about reading the website. If you have applied to a program, bought a ticket, signed a membership agreement or entered any other arrangement with Launch Academy, that arrangement is governed by its own terms — not by this page, which cannot add to or override them.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, link to, quote and share anything here. Quoting with attribution and a link back is the normal courtesy and we ask for nothing more.
What we ask you not to do: republish substantial portions of our writing as your own, use the site in a way that damages it or interferes with other people's use of it, or attempt to reach parts of it that are not public.
Ownership
The words, images and design on this site belong to Launch Academy or to whoever licensed them to us, except where stated otherwise. The Launch Academy name and logo are ours. Company names and logos on our track record pages belong to those companies and appear because they were part of our community.
Accuracy
We write these pages carefully and some of them describe things that change — program details, dates, immigration rules, who is on the team. We update them when we can, and we cannot promise that every page is current at the moment you read it. Nothing here is legal, financial or immigration advice. Startup Visa material in particular describes a federal program whose rules are set by the Government of Canada and change without reference to us; check the official source before relying on any of it.
Links to other sites
We link out to community sites, partners, portfolio companies and the occasional useful article. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain or do.
Liability
This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Launch Academy is not liable for loss arising from the use of the site or from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
